Pop star Justin Bieber won’t face criminal charges for accidentally hitting a photographer with his pickup truck last month, police have said.
The 23-year-old was leaving a service with the Hillsong Church group in Los Angeles when his large vehicle knocked down the paparazzo, 57-year-old Maurice Lamont, who fell to the ground and ended up in hospital with leg injuries.
But TMZ reports that authorities are ‘not recommending any criminal charges against him’ as the act lacked intent.
