ANAHEIM — Residents affected by this week’s wildfire in Anaheim Hills can get an update on firefighting efforts, ask questions and provide feedback to city officials at a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16.
The Anaheim Hills Community Council and Councilwoman Kris Murray are hosting the meeting about the Canyon Fire 2.
The blaze, which sparked Monday, Oct. 9, spread quickly through the hills community and into north Orange and Tustin. By the time it was declared 60 percent contained Thursday morning it had burned 9,200 acres, destroyed 23 structures and damaged 36 others; three people have been reported injured.
